San Joaquin County Swat/ERT Photo Gallery

Around 0200 hours the San Joaquin County Sheriffs Department received a shooting call near Bristol and Marine Streets. The victim was transported to a local hospital, but was able to identify the shooter.

05/04/2010 Shots Fired at Officers Kirkby Lane

Stockton Police officers responded to a disturbance on Kirkby Lane and a foot pursuit ensued with multiple subjects. An unidentified subject fired at officers with a handgun. No officers were injured. There was an approximately three hour search for the subject and he was UTL. CHP 30 Helicopter and the Stockton SWAT Team did a yard to yard search, without locating the subject who fired the shots. ICS was put into effect. Unknown if any of the other subjects were injured. Part 3 of Oakland Police Officer Shooting 2009

This is the radio traffic from the two motor officers killed in Oakland. This recording was made possible by RadioReference.com. Two Oakland Police Motor units attempted to stop a subject and he opened fire on the officers killing them both in the 7400 block of MacArthur Blvd.

The subject apparently shot both officers while they were still near their motor bikes. This part 3 of the situation and Part 3 includes the SWAT attempt to take the subject into custody. The subject shot two more officers before being mortally wounded himself.
